Russell Brown called about some Raptor Deck, and I was able to pick his brain about filling in the weave of cloth without spraying high-build primer.  He said to applying the goo with a 1/4" nap roller, then re-roll with a foam roller to sort of tip it.  For the doghouse, i had used the trowel-on method, but it leaves a lot of excess filler, which equates to back breaking sanding, so I decided to give the technique described a go.  I primed the surface, then did 2 coats, wet on wet, adding more filler the second time around.
