Raptor Bunk Pads

The rebuilt bunks aren't a perfect match to my hull form.  To spread the load around requires a softer foam than Raptor Deck's stock flooring options.  I talked to the great Mike Deilke, a super knowledgeable foam guru from Ram Technologies, and got his take.  With his feedback, and with bang for the buck in mind, I picked up some Armacell.  This is the foam you might imagine from high-end pipe insulation.  It's cheap and widely available.  After skinning it down to the thickness I wanted, I laminated a stylized Raptor Deck layer on top to get the right combination of elasticity and durability.

Here we are looking sharp with the Taylor Made Stow-N-Go box in place.
