Patching the Center Spine

The longitudinal stiffness of the Melges 30 under the cockpit relied on a centerline stiffener under the cockpit floor.  The layup was light, but you can imagine it as the web of an I-beam.  I cut a pretty sizable section out of it to create some volume under the fender locker lid.  While I didn't bag it, I did add some carbon here to add strength.  I added 9 layers of uni on top of the U, and held it altogether with a couple layers of DB90.
