Sprit Damage

My first project in the new workshop, after getting the boat leveled and situated, was to work on the bad section in the bow where the articulating sprit had blew up the wall.  I peeled the paint with the grinder and and bagged a bit of carbon over the exposed core.  I need to start thinking of some way to keep this from happening again in the future.  There is definitely work to be done on the articulating sprit setup, but I haven't really got my head into that game yet.
