Stern Tube Woe

I had to deal with an self-inflicted issue with the stern tube on the Sisu.  It was an absolute nightmare which took a couple weeks of various attempts to remove, but somehow it was possible with a giant home-made puller and a lot of swearing.  Unfortunately, during the extraction, I turned the housing into an egg.

The boys at the Muckleteo Prop Shop were absolutely priceless and managed some way to mush it back into shape.  I am forever grateful.  If you need a prop here in the PNW, these are the guys!  This is how a business should be run, and their service was an inspiration.
